Kathy Judd, violinist, received a Bachelor of Music degree from New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and a Master of Musical Arts degree from Yale University.

She has performed in various music festivals and orchestras in the U.S. and Europe and was concertmaster and soloist of the Boulder (CO) Bach Festival, The Las Vegas Symphony and the Nevada Chamber Orchestra. Judd has led a multi-faceted musical life as a chamber music performer, orchestral and commercial musician, teacher, and arts administrator. She was a member of the Mariposa Trio and the Idyllwild Trio, a lead musician and string contractor in orchestras accompanying Las Vegas showroom headliners, and faculty member at the Idyllwild (CA) School of Music and the Arts, The University of Nevada, and Elizabethtown (PA) College. She was the Artistic and Executive Director of Music at Gretna, a year-round Pennsylvania chamber music and jazz festival where she performed in numerous chamber music ensembles.

Currently she is Artistic and Executive Director of the Washington (DC) Conservatory of Music.
